The best Carribean deal I've ever seen & the card to make it all (and my crazy plan) possible.
Go Somewhere: Volume 20
Happy Friday everyone. New banner who dis? There’s nothing more exciting than a good deal.
Today’s issue highlights an incredible travel deal.
Plus, I’ll be asking you to help me do something crazy…
Thanks for being here. Thanks for following along.
My website is almost done (yippee!), and I’ve got a HUGE surprise for you all next week. I’ll reveal at the end of the newsletter.
The deal of all deals omg.
When I found this deal I literally did this…
Because here’s the thing, I have spent hours trying to find good deals to the Carribean.
And they’re difficult to find. Yes, you’ll find flights in the high $200’s and mid $300’s, but nothing much better.
Especially not to more remote islands like Bonaire, Antigua, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, etc..
But American Airlines is running an unbelievable deal right now. 5,000 AAdvantage points one way from all over the U.S. to almost anywhere in the Caribbean, Central America, or Mexico.
Yes, I could fly from my hometown 4-gate airport of Fort Wayne, Indiana to Antigua (half of you have probably never heard of Antigua) for 5,000 points each way.
The only catch?
Limited availability.
This deal is over on March 15th.
Don’t believe me?
Check these out. ⬇️
Everyday (non-hub) U.S. cities to VERY expensive destinations. 5k points one way.
You’re easily getting 6-10 cents per point on all of these redemptions.
The only problem here…
Most of you don’t have AAdvantage points. The only card that transfers to AAdvantage is BILT (more on that in section 2).
For the flights that are direct (ORD, CLT, DFW, or MIA) to one of these destinations, you could transfer Chase or Capital One points to British Airways and get a similar deal (not as good), but if there is a connection, the price goes way up.
How to earn AAdvantage points:
You should have gotten a BILT card when I told you to.
You can get an AAdvantage credit card and earn a 50k bonus, but you probably won’t have time to get it for this deal.
Obviously, you can earn points by flying American.
BILT lovers - I know you’re pretty happy right now.
If you have AAdvantage or BILT points, I URGE you to book this deal. You won’t see anything this good for a while.
A dream & a BILT card.
Remember when I said I was going to fly to Hawaii one day and fly home the next day for the meme/content/experience? Well, I still might. But Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles just upped their prices for me to get there - it costs 20k points RT now.
With this deal to the Caribbean, I’m thinking of shifting my trip to an obscure Caribbean island, like Antigua.
I’ll fly in one day, get a swim & a hike in, then fly home the next day. For only 10k points.
I’ll record an epic video about my experience and share it with you all.
However - I’m 5,000 BILT points short of being able to get flights for my buddy and me.
I need you guys. Seriously.
Click this link right now and apply for one of the best travel cards on the market.
If just two of you get this card my trip will happen. Two!!!
➡️ I’ll throw in something extra special: the first 2 people who sign up for a BILT card today w/my link will get a free 1:1 travel consult call with me (I charge $150).
😆So why would you want the BILT card?
It’s the only card on the planet that lets you earn points paying rent.
It’s got the best transfer partners out there (Hyatt & American Airlines).
You earn 3x points on dining, 1x points on everything else.
The 1st of the month is BILT day and you can earn huge amounts of points & get incredible deals (like a 150% transfer bonus to Emirates two months ago).
It has NO ANNUAL FEE.
It’s all black and looks awesome.
There are literally no downsides.
Get one of the best cards on the market.
Send me and a homie to the Carribean for 1 night.
Spread the joy of travel.
I want to serve you all. Comment below any questions you have about travel hacking you’d like answered in upcoming newsletters.
And don’t worry, I didn’t forget the surprise.
➡️ Next week, I’ll be releasing an exclusive interview with an influential Hyatt employee about maximizing Hyatt points, the secrets of the hotel industry, and so much more.
My subscribers here will be the first to hear it and I’ll share it with my LinkedIn audience about a week later.
I hope you’re as excited as I am!
