- I just booked a $5,000 resort stay.
I just booked a $5,000 resort stay.
and I'm paying $0 out of pocket.
I guess November is Colin booking travel month?
November has been a big business month, to say the least.
My business is exploding in a way I literally could not have imagined.
So, while things are good, I may as well book some travel! It helps that I’m saving thousands of dollars using my points effectively.
I can’t wait to share with you this epic hotel deal in Florida I just booked.
That’ll be $5,000, sir.
Here’s what my stay should have cost:
Who pays full price for this stuff? $1,219/night and you’re not being personally buttled all day?
Well, not me.
As we all know at this point, World of Hyatt has the best hotel rewards program in the world.
It just doesn’t get better than this…
23,000 points per night, for a hotel that costs $1,219/night.
That’s insane.
This is the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, FL.
I’ll think I’ll be just fine here:)
How I found this deal:
I knew this was a category 5 hotel so it would have reasonable pricing (17k-25k points per night usually).
Since I’m going during Spring Break time, the cash prices are elevated. The stars aligned and I found availability on some of the most expensive nights of the year.
That really sweetens the deal.
I transferred Chase points to World of Hyatt (instantaneous) and booked it!
We’ll be flying direct from our home airport on Allegiant Air.
How I earned 92,000 Chase points:
As you guys know, I’ve earned a ton of referral bonuses from my favorite card in my wallet, the business card everyone should have.
I also had not yet used my welcome bonus from my Chase Sapphire Preferred card I got last year. Needless to say, I had a decent amount of points lying around even after using 210k earlier this month for business class flights to Europe.
November has been massive.
I’ve booked over $27,000 of travel with my points.
I’m taking my own advice and not hoarding my points. This could all disappear any day, so let’s enjoy our points and take our families to amazing places!
Where are you headed next?
