Europe is cheaper than Disney
And way better.
If Elon Musk could pay for me to put a message on 100 billboards across America, this is what I’d say.
Europe is cheaper (and way better) than Disney.
It’s crazy to me that people think Europe is for rich people.
Then proceed to take their family of 5 to Disney.
As someone who plans travel professionally, you wouldn’t believe what people spend at Disney.
Let me show you how to go to Europe for a fraction of the price of Disney (with points, of course).
Do something real, not something fake.
Disney is a manufactured experience of culture/tradition, Europe is an actual experience of culture/tradition.
But people will always love Disney, and that’s ok. I just want you all to know you have another option.
So what makes Disney so expensive?
Short answer: everything.
Specifically, park tickets. It would be easy to spend about $4,000 on 5 days of park tickets for a family of 4.
That’s wild. & that doesn’t include food, transportation, hotels, etc…
So let’s take that $4,000 just spent on park tickets and see (with the help of points), what it can get us in Europe.
Getting great flight deals to Europe:
No need to look further than Air France/KLM. The best program to get you to Europe.
You can fly in economy for 40,000 points + ~$250 roundtrip from most major U.S. cities to most major European cities.
You can do premium economy for 70,000 points roundtrip + a bit more in fees.

Plenty of availability from Minneapolis to Amsterdam & Paris.
If I wanted to earn the 160,000 points required to get a family of 4 to Europe, I’d 100% pick up this card for me and my wife.
If I got the card, got the bonus, referred my wife, then she got a bonus, we’d have about 180,000 points.
Boom. You can get the family to Europe - save about $1,000 for taxes & fees.
We’re working with $4,000, so we’ve got $3k left for food + lodging.
Here’s an awesome family flat available for $2,371 for the week:

Great, now we’ve got $600 left for food & activities (bonus: many European activities are free!).
Here’s what to take from this:
From the $4,000 you’d spend on 5 days of Disney tickets alone, you can fly the family RT to Europe, get a nice apartment for 7 nights, and cover a nice chunk of your food expenses.
Guys, Europe is cheaper than Disney.
(and a lot more fun).
If you’ve been scared of Europe because you think it’s only for richies, think again.
